Judging Criteria
Each team will have the opportunity to explain their technical/business solution as well as the policy proposal. These will be judged by a panel of city councillors from the Oxford City Council, and experts from academia, business, non-governmental organisations, and the professional speaking worlds.

Kate works at UK Innovation Foundation, Nesta. She is responsible for engaging the private sector in social innovation. She is on the advisory board of the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute and is a ZINC VC Mental Health Academy Fellow. She is also on the board of Oxford Citizens Advice.

Peter is a Senior Fellow with the Alliance for Innovation, a national network of city leaders and a special advisor to America In Bloom.
Kokulan Mahendiran

Kokulan is currently completing a Master's in Diplomatic Studies at Oxford University and is is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society, and a recipient of both the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers. He is Head of OxfordAgainstCorona.

Daphne is responsible for designing and delivering grant funding programmes that use quality improvement approaches to tackle issues in the UK health and care system. Lucy is a Project Designer for Oxford-based architecture and design cooperative, Transition by Design. Her work focusses on how to better house people in extreme housing need using innovative and community-led approaches. Recent projects include Open House, and the co-design of Floyd's Row, Oxford's new accommodation and assessment hub for people who are rough sleeping.
