Judging Criteria
Each team will have the opportunity to explain their technical/business solution as well as the policy proposal. These will be judged by a panel of city councillors from the Oxford City Council, and experts from academia, business, non-governmental organisations, and the professional speaking worlds.

Professor at Saïd Business School
Marc Ventresca is an economic sociologist in the Strategy, Innovation and Marketing Faculty at Saïd Business School and a Governing Body Fellow of Wolfson College. Marc's areas of expertise include market and network formation, entrepreneurship, governance, and innovation and technology strategy.
Lorraine Wright

Lorraine Wright is an award winning business woman and an Executive MBA graduate from the University of Oxford, who is making her mark both in the corporate and music world. Lorraine is a Director at UBS and alongside her day job she is committed to transforming lives through the power of music.

He is the author of 4 best-selling books and has been a globally recognised professional speaker over the past 30 years. He is also a former Mayoral candidate who succeeded in bringing the homelessness and environment problems in Tampa to the forefront in public debates.
Kate Sutton

Kate works at UK Innovation Foundation, Nesta. She is responsible for engaging the private sector in social innovation. She is on the advisory board of the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute and is a ZINC VC Mental Health Academy Fellow. She is also on the board of Oxford Citizens Advice.

Ian Corkin serves as a County Councillor in Oxford. He is the Cabinet Member for Council Business & Partnerships.

Peter is a Senior Fellow with the Alliance for Innovation, a national network of city leaders and a special advisor to America In Bloom.

Sara is the CEO of Oxford Hub, the centre for social action in the city of Oxford. She is also a Research Fellow at the Centre for Youth Impact and has served as a trustee for various UK charities.
Kokulan Mahendiran

Kokulan is currently completing a Master's in Diplomatic Studies at Oxford University and is is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society, and a recipient of both the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers. He is Head of OxfordAgainstCorona.

Daphne is responsible for designing and delivering grant funding programmes that use quality improvement approaches to tackle issues in the UK health and care system. Daphne previously worked at PwC in their Sustainability and Climate Change consulting team and is also part of the Future of Ghana Top 30 Under 30 Class of 2019.

Lucy is a Project Designer for Oxford-based architecture and design cooperative, Transition by Design. Her work focusses on how to better house people in extreme housing need using innovative and community-led approaches. Recent projects include Open House, and the co-design of Floyd's Row, Oxford's new accommodation and assessment hub for people who are rough sleeping.
